Witnessing a remarkable surge in participation from over 36,000 contestants in 2019 to exceeding one million participants in 2020, the enthusiasm for the Ganga Quest has multiplied significantly within just a year.
Quiz Overview
This international bilingual (in Hindi and English) online quiz about the Ganga is organized jointly by the National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG), a body under the Government of India responsible for implementing the ‘Namami Gange’ program, and the TREE Craze Foundation (TCF), a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of the Ganga, rivers, and the environment.
Beyond engaging participants and fostering awareness and understanding, the Ganga Quest initiative seeks to analyze and evaluate participation patterns and awareness levels among participants. The targeted objectives include enhancing knowledge, creating awareness, shaping attitudes, assessing knowledge gaps, and establishing a baseline.
